'Light on the Creek' was shot with a Casio Exilim EX-Z75.  Two pieces of footage were chosen to create individual special effects pieces in QuickTime using the posterize technique.  These clips were then imported to iMovie 08.  During editing, each of the two sections was transitioned into its own different colored versions.  The budget for the film was $0.

The story

This short started out in 2008 as still photos which were carefully timed during the day to catch the particular clear, reflective quality of sunlight on the creek.  The video was then shot to create individual pieces of abstract special effects footage for a contest.  Later they were strung together to create 'Light on the Creek'.  Soft, new age style music was planned, but ultimately the piece was left silent to allow the viewer to concentrate on the visual shift of colors and motion of water and light without the distraction of mood set by music.
