'Animation 1' was created by freehand drawing with a mouse in Pencil freeware.  The animating was accomplished by simple layering and looping.  The project was then moved to QuickTime in order to produce video that could be worked with in iMovie 08, which is where the final piece was put together.  The music was performed on an M-Audio Key Rig 25 and recorded and edited in GarageBand 08.  The film's budget was $0.

The story

This abstract art piece was my first attempt at animation as preparation for creating moving line drawings for dream sequences in larger projects.  It dances and pulsates to a machine-like hum.
