'Absorbed' was shot with a MacBook built-in iSight camera, with the exception of one still (the bikini), shot with a Casio Exilim EX-Z75.  The music is royalty free Apple Inc. stock.  The piece was edited with iMovie 08 and lots of love.  The film's budget of $250 was the price of the Casio digital camera.

The story

'Absorbed' was the filmmaker's first moving picture project.  It is an experimental, non-narrative, self-portrait music video. Completed in 2008 entirely from test footage, the real hard work went into the exact timing of the editing to the upbeat music.  Shot from one angle in one room, the short shares the experience of a woman working (and goofing off) in her pajamas day and night from the point of view of her computer.  The mood is light, fun, and danceable.
